The core duties for a Business Development Specialist are to co-develop new products, services and lines of businesses with the R&D team to increase and sustain that growth. He/She tracks and monitors the revenue stream for individual products and services and follows strategies and tactics set by the Business Development Supervisor for growth, including marketing and sales approaches.

Participates in sales work to generate and support clients through offering value-adding services, fostering and sustaining strong client relationships, and participating in sales campaigns.

Work closely with existing and prospective clients to discuss their needs and match them with the products that will optimize customer satisfaction. Sales assistant/account coordinators also generate sales leads, handle client complaints, demonstrate products, and support account/sales executives. prepares the correct sales order for scheduled delivery and sliced item buffers.
